Join The Filson Historical Society for a new winter concert tradition on December 5 featuring the NouLou Chamber Players. We invite you to share this special evening with us at beautiful Oxmoor Farm.
Enjoy some favorites of the Classical repertoire in front of the cozy fireplace in the Library at Oxmoor Farm. Selections include Beethoven’s Piano Trio, Op. 11, Tchaikovsky’s Andante Cantabile from String Quartet No. 1, Op. 11, and Bach’s Concerto for Violin and Oboe in C minor, BWV 1060, which will feature violinist Maria Semes and Oboist Alexander Vvedenskiy. You will be sure to tap your toe, feel the emotion, and laugh a little with this stellar performance by NouLou Chamber Players! A reception with food and drink will be at 5:30 p.m. with the music beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the library. This event is open to non-Filson members for admission price of $25.
