NEW Musicians Behaving Badly

Sunday, May 14, 2017 | 6:30pm – Musicians Behaving Badly
Clara Schumann: Piano Trio in G minor, Op. 17
Roussel: Trio, Op. 40 for Flute, Viola and Cello
Strauss: Till Eulenspiegel’s Merry Pranks, arranged for Violin, Double Bass, Clarinet, Bassoon and Horn

In the spirit of Mother’s Day, NouLou Chamber Players’ season finale stirs up a little trouble with music by Clara Schumann, Albert Roussel, and Richard Strauss. Even Mom would let slide the playfulness and mischief this evening will entail. Come join us for an outstanding program that’s musician tested and mother approved!

Strummed & Struck- Schubert & Shostakovich

Friday, Mar. 3, 2017 | 7:30pm – Strummed & Struck: Schubert & Shostakovich
Schubert: Quartet for Flute, Guitar, Viola & Cello in G major, D. 96
Shostakovich: String Quartet No. 3 in F major, Op. 73

This concert is just about as unpredictable as your NCAA bracket! We welcome special guest guitarist Stephen Mattingly to join us on an elegant quartet by Franz Schubert. This, juxtaposed with Dmitri Shostakovich’s jaunty and sinuous third quartet, will certainly be a clash to remember!

Loving Gestures
